Wider Display in Thinner Design
Garmin’s nüvi 1390T has 4.3-inch backlit wide touch screen. It displays 70% more screen area than a navigator with only 3.5 inches of screen. The wide screen displays where you are in the map, the nearby restaurants, parks, gas stations, ATM machines and the like. It also alerts you when there’s a detour ahead and it has 2D or 3D display. The brilliantly-colored screen is readable in sunlight and can be easily read from any direction.

Text-To-Speech Feature
This device has Text-to-speech feature which automatically calls out specific name of streets. This awesome feature allows drivers to have their eyes focused on the road while they are navigating through tricky roadways and heavy traffic.

Map Data
Garmin’s nüvi 1390T is preloaded with City Navigator NT North America which covers map data. It contains almost 6 million of points of interest such as restaurants, hospitals, gas stations, etc. The map data is powered by NAVTEQ, a renowned maker of premium-quality digital map data.

“Where Am I?” “Where’s My Car?”
Just a single tap on the unit’s screen allows it to display the exact latitude and longitude coordinates of the user’s location. Garmin nüvi 1390T automatically marks the position in which it was last removed from the mount thus allowing you to find your car in a vast parking lot.

HotFix™ Satellite Prediction
For a device to navigate effectively, it needs to get a ‘lock’ on three satellites. With Garmin’s HotFix technology, GPS becomes capable of remembering the position of all satellites it is tracking when it is turned off. Upon turning it on, it easily locates the satellites that it previously tracked.

Designed For Ease
This device is made with a GPS receiver that is highly sensitive for ideal accuracy. It has wide screen for better display and provides ease of operation by controlling the device through its sensitive touch screen with your fingers.

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery is capable of up to 4 hours of power. The microSD card slot is great for storing media and additional navigation tools. It also has USB interface for loading data.
